#481 Video Game Bundle V

Today for this Monday I want to do a shout out for another Bundle website that has a relevant videogame deal. The people at StoryBundle are currently selling their fifth Video Game Book Bundle. I have talked about StoryBundle before back in Be MOP #361, and it e-book website that follows the same Bundle fundraising processes that seems to have sprout up all over the web with the major success of the Humble Bundle, of name your price for the bundle with a bunch of extra content unlocked if you pay beyond a certain point.

who can blame them, the bundle fundraising style is successful because it is an incredibly way to raise money by lowering the barrier to donate incredibly low while encouraging everyone to up sell themselves.

Whether that consequence that this bundle went live at the start of the new year or not I am taking it as a sign from the almighty internet to get started towards my own new year resolution of reading more and to get more use of out of books that I have been doing nothing but gathering dust. Because if I am not playing videogames I end up reading books about videogames.

These are eBooks because I am a gamer, blogger, and streamer I am too tech-savvy to use any piece of media that does not have a back-light or WiFi.

Looking through the bundle some all of these books titles are unknown to me but  a few books of note:

Super iam8bit, a collection of art of various artists putting their own spin on classic retro games

Sega Arcade Classics Vol. 1, a compilation of reviews 1980-1990 of classic Sega games

Game Toilet Vol. 1: A series of cartoons depicting someone unused but interesting game play ideas and concepts, that might never see the light of day

Boss Fight Books: Super Mario Bros. 2: A book about one of the Mario sequel that was too tough for the American audience and the questionably ripped off other Super Mario Bros 2 game that the States got instead

Just like other bundles, it is pay what you want, with bonus books unlocked if you chip in $13.99 or more. As the norm, all of these ebooks are DRM-free and you can choose to have a portion of your purchase donated to either the Mighty Writers or the Girls Write Now charity. If any of these books looks interesting, you better hurry, because at time of writing there just little over two weeks left to grab these books.
